Chief Executive Officer

Clare is Chief Executive Officer, and co-owner, of Clue. Under Clare’s stewardship, Clue has become a leading investigation case management and intelligence platform. Clare has driven the development of a single platform, interoperable product that is at the centre of the investigation technology ecosystem.

Thomas Drohan

Chief Strategy Officer

Thomas is Chief Strategy Officer, and co-owner, of Clue. Thomas has extensive experience building and leading world-class technology businesses. He is passionate about creating teams that are focused on customer success by working closely with product users to understand their changing environments and challenges to meet their needs.

Adam Hale

Non-Executive Chair

Adam has served as non-executive Chair of Clue since November 2021. He is also Chair of SaaS business Arctic Shores and advisor to vyntelligence, Findity and many others. He is a judge for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year programme and a partner at ScaleUp Group. His career has focussed on driving positive business change through the combination of technology and people.

Nick Harber

Chief Financial Officer

Nick is Chief Financial Officer of Clue. Nick joined Clue in 2021, playing a key role in securing the strategic growth investment from Frog Capital.

Martin Wilks

Chief Technology Officer

Martin Wilks is an experienced technology leader with over 30 years of expertise in developing scalable, AI-driven solutions. As Clue's Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Martin brings a wealth of experience from previous roles as CTO at four other organisations, including his most recent position at an AI-enabled knowledge marketplace. Known for his passion for building innovative products and leading high-performing teams, Martin has a proven track record in driving growth and delivering cutting-edge technology platforms.

Nick Gregory

Chief Marketing Officer

Nick is the chief marketing officer for Clue Software and is responsible for the business’s global marketing and communications strategy. Nick has over 35 years of experience in B2B software marketing, sales and product development. He joined Clue in August 2022, having previously served as CMO for nearly six years at IRIS Software Group.

Antonia James

Chief Customer Officer

Antonia, as Chief Customer Officer for Clue Software, is responsible for driving a customer-centric strategy across the business. Since joining in January 2024, she has led initiatives to enhance customer experience, ensuring that operations align with client needs and expectations.

With a background in the legal sector, she brings a deep understanding of customer challenges and leverages technology and innovation to deliver impactful solutions. Her leadership plays a crucial role in advancing Clue Software’s mission to protect society from harm.

Ian Blackhurst

Chief Sales Officer

Ian is the Director of Commercial at Clue. With extensive experience in the information technology and services industry, Ian is adept in strategy, sales, management, software, consultancy, and services. He possesses deep expertise in public services, including public safety, local and central government, justice, and defense sectors. Prior to Clue, Ian held executive roles at NEC and Northgate Public Services.

Clair Hodgson

Chief People Officer

Clair is the Director of People and Culture at Clue, leading the People team in developing and executing the company's People Strategy. A Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and a qualified Chartered Accountant, Clair is dedicated to creating purpose-driven workplaces where individuals and teams can thrive.

Matt Horne

Director of Investigations and Intelligence

Matt is Director of Investigations and Intelligence. A former law enforcement leader, he served for 30 years in policing and national security, accomplishing the position of National Crime Agency Deputy Director - Investigations. He is expert in the domains of intelligence and investigations, with experience leading the most complex and high risk operations at national level.

Phil Suddick

Head of Intelligence and Investigations

Phil is a former law enforcement officer. During his thirty-year service to 2015, he specialised in proactive and reactive complex anti-corruption investigations and the covert investigation and locating of high-risk global fugitives. Phil then moved into the world of sport tackling global corruption in tennis.

Natasha Laird

Director of Legal

Natasha is the Director of Legal at Clue. She holds a degree in Law and German Law from King's College London and qualified as a solicitor in 1998. Before joining Clue, she practiced as a commercial litigation lawyer at Hammonds (now Squire Patton Boggs) and has been active in the software sector since 2014. Natasha has served as General Counsel for SCISYS Group PLC and most recently as Deputy General Counsel for Tribal Group PLC. With over 20 years of legal and commercial experience, she is passionate about delivering effective and agile legal support.

Craig Train

Director of Application Development

Craig is the Director of Application Development at Clue Software, overseeing the technical development of the Clue platform. Since joining Clue in 2021, Craig has leveraged his over 20 years of software development experience to drive innovation and excellence. He is passionate about building inclusive technical teams and fostering an environment where they can excel and deliver their best work.

Mal Earnest

Director of Innovation

Mal, the Director of Innovation at Clue, has been with the company for over 25 years. Formerly serving as a Technical Architect and Senior Developer, Mal brings a deep understanding of Clue's diverse customer base and a robust technical background. He leads the innovation team with a commitment to pushing boundaries and staying ahead of industry trends.

Graham Newman

Director of Marketing

Graham is Director of Marketing for Clue Software. He joined the company in March 2021 and has over 25 years’ marketing experience primarily in SaaS and information businesses across a range of sectors in domestic and global markets. Graham has also worked in business services, not-for-profit and start-up organisations.

Glyn Evans

Director of Solutions Consultancy

As Director of Solutions Consultancy at Clue, Glyn brings 27 years of experience in customer success, growth, and team leadership across the public sector, defence, and financial services. Formerly Consultancy Services Director (MD) for Civica's Central Government division, Glyn holds degrees in Information Systems Engineering and Advanced Computing. Passionate about delivering impactful solutions, he is dedicated to scaling Clue's services and deepening customer engagement.
