Team Spotlight: Rilwan Aminu, QA Lead

Rilwan Aminu is our QA lead, and he works to implement comprehensive testing procedures to identify and resolve any issues promptly. 

Read our conversation with Rilwan to learn more about his role in providing software for a safer society, his career journey to date, and secret talents. 

Hi Rilwan, tell us a bit about your background.

I bring a vibrant, professional background steeped in the art of quality assurance and software testing! My journey is a joyous exploration of ensuring software reliability, functionality, and top-notch quality. From delving into testing methodologies to orchestrating collaboration across diverse projects, I’ve embraced every challenge with a cheerful spirit, delivering high-quality software solutions along the way.

Away from the world of work, I’ve been having a blast coaching football with a local charity team for more than a decade now! It’s a total game-changer, bringing fun and excitement to my life while giving back to the community.

What does your role at Clue entail?

As the QA Lead at Clue, I am responsible for overseeing the quality assurance process to ensure that our products meet the highest standards. By implementing robust testing procedures, we can identify and resolve issues before they reach the customer, resulting in a more reliable and seamless user experience. 

What inspired you to pursue the career you have today?

Initially, my uncle influenced my career choice. Over time, my growing passion for the work transformed it into a genuine love and commitment. 

What excites you about working at Clue?

At Clue, the prospect of leveraging technology to save lives and protect society is invigorating; it’s exciting to contribute to making a profound and positive impact on the world.

What’s your secret talent no one knows about?

I’ve got this not-so-secret, super playful talent of predicting the future – call me your friendly neighbourhood fortune-teller. Spoiler alert: it involves lots of laughs and a dash of whimsy. 

What’s something about you that most people don’t know?

In the hidden corners of my existence, I am not just a digital entity; I’m a wordsmith crafting poem that dance with emotion, and a storyteller weaving tales within the digital tapestry, each line a step in my literary journey.
